King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has approved a number of decisions taken by the Council of Higher Education in its 58th session, Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khaled Bin Muhammad Al-Anqari said in a statement to SPA Tuesday. The King, who is also the Chairman of Council of Higher Education, approved the establishment of an international advisory body for King Abdul Aziz University. The university's council will select the members of the advisory body and draft the body's rules and regulations, said Al-Anqari. The King also approved the creation of associate deanships and research centers in some universities, establishment of some departments at various colleges, appointment of a number of members of teaching staff or vice rectors of some universities, and the extension of services of 79 members of teaching staff in some universities. The King also approved the appointment of eight judges at Grade-B, said Dr. Mohammed Al-Eisa, the Minister of Justice.
