OIC SG arrives in Yemen

The Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has stressed the support of the OIC to the Yemeni territorial integrity and the right of Yemen to have sovereignty over its territory, warning of attempts to politicize religion and stoking inter-sectarian tendencies.
Upon arrival here this evening, the OIC SG added in a statement to the Yemeni Press Agency "We are following up with concern and sorrow the events running in Yemen and want to express our steadfast support for the territorial integrity of Yemen and the right to assert its sovereignty over all its territory".
