Awwal 03, 1432 H/April 7, 2011, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu stressed the support of the OIC for the initiative of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries aimed to hold talks between the parties concerned to get out of the current crisis and to maintain the security and stability of Yemen and its unity. Professor Ihsanoglu, speaking in a press statement today, expressed the OIC appreciation to this important initiative of the GCC and hoped to reach solutions satisfactory to all parties to help maintain the security of Yemen and its unity and territorial integrity.
