Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdulrahman Ala'ateyah praised the security efforts exerted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to expose and abort the terrorist plots and protect the national achievements and lives of citizens and expatriates from the mischief of this deviant group and the latest announced arrest of the terrorist cell composed of 44 people of the network of theorists and supporters of the deviant thought and its criminal activities. Ala'ateyah reiterated the firm stands of the GCC countries renouncing all forms and sources of terrorism and the constructive cooperation by GCC countries' security departments to coordinate and exchanged information to curb the movement of terrorist elements and foil their plots. The aim of the GCC security efforts is to serve the security and stability of the region.
