The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah has condemned the terror plot that targeted the security and integrity of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Al-Atiyyah expressed GCC support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to protect its citizens' safety and security. He also praised the efforts exerted by Bahraini security bodies to foil the terrorist plot. He reiterated the position of GCC states to renounce all forms of terrorism, calling for concerted regional and international efforts to combat terrorism.
