Hurricane Bill has formed in the Atlantic, the first hurricane of this year's Atlantic hurricane season. Meanwhile, Hurricane Guillermo has weakened to a tropical storm far out in the Pacific. Hurricane Bill's maximum sustained winds are near 75 mph (121 kph). The National Hurricane Center expects Bill to get stronger and it could become a major hurricane by Wednesday. Bill is centered about 1,160 miles (1,870 kilometers) east of the Lesser Antilles and is moving quickly west-northwest near 22 mph (35 kph). Elsewhere, Tropical Storm Guillermo's maximum sustained winds are near 70 mph (113 kph) with the storm expected to continue weakening. Guillermo is centered about 815 miles (1,310 kilometers) east of Hilo, Hawaii, and moving west-northwest near 15 mph (24 kph).
