Hurricane Felicia remains a Category 2 storm far out in the Pacific and is expected to weaken as it gets closer to Hawaii, reported the dpa. The National Hurricane Center said Felicia's maximum sustained winds remained near 100 mph (160 kilometer) Friday evening. Forecasts say people in Hawaii should monitor Felicia's progress. They say the storm is expected to continue weakening over the next two days and become a tropical storm on Saturday, well before it reaches there. Felicia had reached Category 4 strength Thursday. Felicia is centered about 1,190 miles (1,915 kilometers) east of Hilo, Hawaii, and is moving west-northwest near 14 mph (22.5 kph).
