Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of topics at local, Arab and international arenas particularly launching Ramadan Convoy for Relief of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the forthcoming return of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and services to be provided to Umrah performers during the blessed month of Ramadan. Al-Bilad newspaper said that the Campaign of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the Relief of Palestinian People in the Gaza Strip was launched in Riyadh on Sunday including foodstuffs and medical supplies as contribution from the government and the people of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people affected by the deterioration of living and health conditions due to Israel's war on the Gaza Strip. The paper noted that Ramadan Food Convoy for Relief of the Palestinian People in the Gaza Strip is considered as completion of the humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards Arab and Muslim brothers all over the world, especially in times of crises, noting that it is also considered as embodiment of contacts between Saudi generous people and their Palestinian brothers. Al-Bilad pointed out that the Campaign for Relief of the Palestinian People has approved an amount of more than SR 139 million for the execution of programs and projects for the affected Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. --More
