In implementation of the directives of Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior, and General Supervisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Campaign for Relief of Palestinian People in Gaza, Ramadan Food Convoy for Relief of the Affected People in the Gaza Strip was launched in Riyadh Sunday. It came after completion of coordination with concerned authorities in Egypt to facilitate the procedures for its entry. Dr. Saed Al-Orabi Al-Harthi, Advisor to Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister and the Campaign's President, pointed out that the convoy comprised of 24 trucks weighing 352 ton of foodstuffs, medical supplies, and various sheltering aid as well as 11 ambulances for the relief of brothers in the Gaza Strip. “In implementation of the directives of Prince Naif, the campaign has prepared a program for sending relief convoys for the relief of brothers in the Gaza Strip particularly due to the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan containing foodstuffs and medical supplies as contribution from the government and people of Saudi Arabia to alleviate the sufferings of the Palestinian people resulting from Israel's war on the Gaza Strip,” he said.
