Tropical Storm Felicia has formed in the Pacific Ocean, while Tropical Storm Enrique is strengthening not far from it, forecasters said Tuesday. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Miami said Felicia's maximum sustained winds are near 72 kilometers per hour (kph) while Enrique, which is farther east, has winds near 97 kph. Enrique is centered about 1,180 kilometers southwest of the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California peninsula. Felicia is about 1,930 kilometers west-southwest of the peninsula's tip. Enrique is expected to strengthen in the next 24 hours, and Felicia could become a hurricane in the next day or two. Currently, neither storm is threatening land.
