Saudi official makes statement on Saudi support for Palestinian budget

Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League Ambassador Ahmad Qattan said that the Saudi Development Fund has taken the necessary measures to transfer the installments of the two months of April and May 2009 totaling USD15.4 million to the account of the Palestinian Ministry of Finance for the name of "The Palestine Liberation Organization. The Economic Department".
In a statement today, the ambassador reiterated the continued role of the kingdom in supporting the budget of the Palestinian National Authority according to Arab summits' resolutions.
