Saudi Development Fund took the necessary measures to transfer the installments of the two months of August and September 2004 with the sum of USD15.4 million to the account opened by the general secretariat of the Arab League and which is devoted to the support for the Palestinian Authority's budget. In a press statement on the occasion today, acting Saudi charge d'affaires at the Arab League Mr. Abdulmoamin bin Mohammad Sharaf said with this payment, the kingdom has paid its full contribution for the six months called for by a decision by the league's council at the Arab Summit level in its 16th session in Tunisia and which calls for continuation of financial support for the Palestinian National Authority's budget for six months starting from the first of April 2004.
