Saudi Arabia is in the process of remitting more than $15 million to the Palestinian Finance Ministry, a Saudi senior official reported today.
In a statement, Saudi Arabia's Permanent Representative to the Arab League Ahmed Abdulaziz Gattan said the Saudi Development Fund had taken the necessary procedure to remit the June and July 2010 installments amounting to $15,400,000 to the account of the Palestinian Finance Ministry.
Gattan said the Kingdom continues to replenish the Palestinian Authority budget as per resolutions of Beirut Arab summit 2002 and Sirt Arab summit 2010.
