The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States and Turkey will hold on Tuesday a Joint Strategic Dialogue Meeting at the level of Foreign Ministers. The GCC Secretary General Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Attiyah said that the meeting emanates from the keenness of GCC States and Turkey to enhance the relations between the two sides. He pointed out that the meeting will address the necessary mechanisms for the activation of the framework agreement for joint economic cooperation signed by the two sides in Bahrain in 2005 as well as the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two sides in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in September 2008.
