Syrian President Meets Mitchell

Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad met here today with U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell, who is currently on a tour of a number of countries in the region.
During the meeting, they discussed the peace process in the Middle East as well as the situations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
