RIYADH — The Ministry of Health has begun its field visits as part of the World Health Survey 2025, based on the methodologies and questionnaires of the World Health Survey Plus (WHS+). The survey seeks to provide an accurate database on the population's health status. The ministry aims to enhance healthcare services and monitor public health patterns and health-related behaviors within the community. This progresses the Kingdom towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, in line with Saudi Vision 2030's objectives to improve the quality of life. The ministry stated that the health survey targets a representative sample of citizens and residents across various Saudi regions through individual and household questionnaires. The questionnaires include demographic data, health status, risk factors, and information related to the healthcare system. To boost the national health information system and identify key priorities in the health sector, the survey is comprehensive, covering over 14,000 households and individuals across 13 administrative regions through the health clusters. The health survey also seeks to provide an accurate database on the population's health status, measure progress toward Sustainable Development Goal indicators, support efforts in early detection of chronic diseases, promote healthy behavioral awareness, and guide healthcare service developments in line with community needs.
