The foundation stone for the rehabilitation of the government-run Orange-Naso hospital in Tripoli, Lebanon, was laid today in the presence of Yousef Al-Bassam, the Vice-President of the Saudi Development Fund (SDF) which finances the project, and Lebanon's Chairman of the Development and Rehabilitation Council Nabeel Al-Jisr. Addressing the gathering, Rasheed Al-Jamali, Chief of Tripoli Municipality, thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for its continuous and generous support for developmental projects in Lebanon. For his part, Al-Jisr gave an account on the numerous developmental projects financed by SDF in northern Lebanon. After that, Al-Bassam said he had constructive meetings with Lebanese officials over the last few days to probe the possible assistance that SDF might extend for Lebanon within the adamant support of the Kingdom for Lebanon.
