A soft-loan agreement of SR 75 million was signed here today between the Saudi Development Fund (SDF) and the Republic of Tunisia to help finance a project for integrated farming development in the Tunisian State of Sidi Bouzid. The agreement was signed by SDF Vice President and Managing Director Eng. Yousef bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam and the Tunisian Minister of Development and International Cooperation Mohammed Nouri Al-Jouini. Moreover, the Tunisian Prime Minister Mohamed Al-Ghannouchi received Al-Bassam who is currently on a visit to Tunisia. During the meeting, cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Tunisia and prospects for strengthening it were reviewed. In a press statement following the meeting, Al-Bassam cast light on the important role played by SDF in support of the Saudi-Tunisian cooperation co-patronized by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Tunisia's President Zein Al-Abidin bin Ali.
