THE SAUDI DEVELOPMENT FUND (SDF) HAS SIGNED A $7 MILLION LOAN AGREEMENT ACCORDING TO WHICH SDF FINANCES AN INTERNATIONAL EXPRESSWAY BETWEEN TANORIN AND BATROON IN THE NORTHERN PART OF LEBANON. ON THE LEBANESE SIDE, THE AGREEMENT WAS SIGNED BY THE CHAIRMAN OF DEVELOPMENT AND REHABILITATION COUNCIL NABEEL ALJISR WHILE DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF SDF YOUSEF ALBASSAM SIGNED FOR THE SAUDI SIDE. SAUDI AMBASSADOR TO LEBANON DR. ABDULAZIZ BIN MOHYEDDIN KHOJA ATTENDED THE SIGNING CEREMONY. SDF HAS SO FAR EXTENDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AMOUNTING TO SR1025 INCLUDING 22 PROJECTS IN ADDITION TO 18 PROJECTS FINANCED BY THE KINGDOM COSTING $100 MILLION UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF SDF.
