based Al-Nadwa, commenting on the peace process in the Middle East, said the cabinet was briefed at its meeting yesterday by Foreign Minister prince Saud al-Faisal on the outcome of the extraordinary meeting of the Arab league's ministerial council. "The extraordinary meeting reiterated that durable and comprehensive peace and ending the Arab Israeli dispute are the only way for realizing security and stability in the region. This target will never be realized without adopting the Arab peace initiative which has the required components of a fair and comprehensive peace," said the daily. It affirmed that adherence to the Arab peace initiative means that that there is genuine desire for bringing about peace. The daily believes that any other initiative which tries to normalize relations with Israel prior to the restoration of the usurped rights will never be culminated into success. "As King Abdullah made it clear at Kuwait economic summit; the Arab peace initiative will never be on the table for a long time because the initiative was formulized to rescue the region from the serious repercussions of instability and chaos". --More
