JORDANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER ABDUL-ILAH AL-KHATEEB AND HIS EGYPTIAN COUNTERPART AHMAD ABUL-GHAIT WILL LEAVE FOR ISRAEL ON WEDNESDAY TO REVIEW WITH THE ISRAELI OFFICIALS MEANS FOR ACTIVATING THE PEACE PROCESS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ARAB INITIATIVE. JORDANIAN AMBASSADOR TO ISRAEL ALI AL-A'BID SAID THE VISIT OF THE TWO FOREIGN MINISTERS TO ISRAEL COMES IN LINE WITH THE ARAB PEACE INITIATIVE AND THE INTERNATIONAL LEGITIMATE RESOLUTIONS AS WELL AS THE PRINCIPLE OF ESTABLISHING AN INDEPENDENT PALESTINIAN STATE. THE VISIT WILL EMPHASIZE THAT THE ARAB PEACE INITIATIVE CONSTITUTES A SUITABLE OPPORTUNITY TO START A GENUINE POLITICAL PROCESS FOR REALIZING A COMPREHENSIVE, DURABLE AND JUST PEACE IN THE REGION.
