based Al-Nadwa said the intensive efforts, diplomatic moves and activities of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz reflects the important role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the regional and international arenas. It said the telephonic conversations Sunday between King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz and Egyptian President Mohammad Hosni Mubarak embodies the existing comprehensive coordination between the Kingdom and Egypt. "In the light of the Israeli arrogance, the region is in need of such coordination because intensive efforts should be exerted for bringing about a comprehensive and just peace in the Middle East," said the paper, noting that the big powers have started to understand the Arab stand which calls for peace as enshrined in the Arab peace initiative. The daily said this coordination comes prior to the expected visit of U.S. President Barack Obama to the Middle East region, adding that all sides are hoping that Obama will present a realistic plan which directly deals with the problems of the region in particular and the problems of the Muslim world in general. Meanwhile, the daily underscored the significance of the message the King received yesterday from French President Nicolas Sarkozy and said France views with sympathy the Arab and Palestinian rights. "A great importance is attached to this message which comes at a time when intensive regional and international moves are undertaken to bring about an end to the dispute in the Middle East," the daily said. --MORE
