The Ministers of Health of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States and Yemen held here today an emergency meeting for taking the necessary measures to combat the swine flu (H1N1 influenza 'A' Virus) at the level of Gulf states. Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, the Minister of Health led the delegation of Saudi Arabia to the meeting aimed at formulating a Gulf strategic plan for combating the swine flu as well as bringing about its prevention. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
