Awwal 13, 1432, April 17, 2011, SPA -- The Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah inaugurated here on Saturday evening Saudi Initiative to Combat AIDS in the countries of The Cooperation Council for The Arab States of The Gulf (GCC) organized by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Executive Board of the Council of the GCC Ministers of Health. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Al-Rabeeah emphasized the keenness of Ministries of Health in the GCC countries on supporting AIDS control programs and the development of mechanisms to achieve the best ways to combat the spread of the virus, as well as to mobilize potentials to provide all possible means of health care in the GCC countries. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
