Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Ali bin Saeed Awadh Asiri handed over here today to the Pakistani government 150 tons of dates, as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the brotherly people of Pakistan. The handover ceremony took place at the Foreign Ministry in Islamabad and it was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry for Middle East Affairs Omar Sherzai and Representative of Ministry of Finance of Saudi Arabia Saad bin Abdulaziz Al-Sinaidi. On his part, Sherzai expressed Pakistan's thanks to and appreciation of the King, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier for their continuing humanitarian support for the Pakistani people.
