On the sidelines of the annual meetings of Joint Arab Financial Institutions recently held in Jordan, the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and the Republic of Yemen have signed an agreement for selling the project of building grain silos in Yemen with a sum of $ 21 million as well as a grant agreement for technical assistance amounting to $ 239,000. The agreements have been signed by IDB President Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali and Yemen's Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdulkarim Al-Arhabi. Dr. Ali has also signed a financing agreement with an amount of $15.5 million for a road project in Lebanon. The agreement has also been signed by President of Lebanese Council for Development and Reconstruction Eng. Nabil Al-Jisser.
