The Saudi Development Fund (SDF) and Yemeni Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation singed here today two agreements amounting to $324.6 million. The two sides signed a final agreement to contribute to financing the project of double road (Amran - Sana'a - Aden) the second section (Sana'a - Bayt Al-Kumani), with a total cost of US $ 320 million. According to the agreement, SDF presents $ 207 million as a grant and $ 113 million as a loan to finance the 95-kilometer road project. They also singed a memorandum of understanding under which SDF presents $4.6 million as a contribution to finance the project of supporting the anti-Malaria strategy in the Arab peninsula with a total cost of US $ 4.6 million. The two agreements were singed by Yemeni Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi and SDF Deputy Chairman Yussef al-Bassam.
