The delegation of Saudi Development Fund, headed by Yousef bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam, Vice-President and managing director of the Fund, concluded a three-day visit to Mauritania. In a press statement, SDF said that during the visit a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed between SDF and Mauritanian authorities. They covered an additional loan to finance a project to provide the city of Nouakchott with fresh potable water at a cost of SR94 million. The statement pointed out that the memorandum of understanding provides phase IV of the Saudi program to dig wells in Mauritania and other African countries at a cost of $5.5 million.
