Arab Interior Ministers' 26 session, which concluded its deliberation in Beirut today, issued a final communiqué. They confirmed keenness to continue work to enhance and develop the Arab joint security march and achieve more successes. The council accredited three plans to implement a number of security-related strategies: the 6th Arab security plan targeting the provision of active confrontation to all forms of crime and enhance the role of citizens in combating crime. The Arab media plan for security illumination and prevention and the Arab Touristy Security plan. Moreover, the council made a number of recommendations submitted by the chiefs of police and security, terror combat authorities, immigration, passports and nationality officials, touristy security personnel, traffic police, punitive and reformatory foundations, border, airports and ports security authorities and specialized committee on renewable crimes. --More
