Patrols of Border Guard in Jazan Region managed to arrest a number of infiltrators and seized narcotic substances smuggled to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Commander of Border Guard in Jazan Region Major General Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Aidi said that the border guards arrested 5,724 persons sneaking across the border and seized 5,390 cabtagon pills, 59232.886 kg of khat, 71 kg of hashish, 45 bottles of wine, 81,265 kg of flour, 43,980 kg of barley, 1,048 goats, 1,472 kg of cigarettes and 2,253 kg. He also said that the border guards are patrolling the area around the clock in cooperation with the rest of the security services to maintain security and prevent smugglers from achieving their objectives.
