The Border Guards, over a period of three days, have foiled attempts to smuggle 407.8 kg of hashish at different sectors. Patrols at Al-Daer Sector seized 219.8 kg of hashish, 103 kg at Al-Khobah Sector, 49 kg at Al-Tuwal Sector and 36 kg at Al-Aridha Sector, First Lt. Turki Bin Saud Al-Gosaibi, spokesman of the Border Guards in Jizan, said. Meanwhile, Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Bin Muhammad Al-Aidi, Commander of the Border Guards in Jizan, said Border Guards patrols in Jizan are continuing their efforts to prevent smuggling and infiltration of all kinds. He called upon citizens to cooperate with the Border Guards in uncovering smugglers. The official also thanked the patrols for foiling smuggling operations and issued directives to reward them.
