President of King Saud University (KSU) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Othman expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his humanitarian initiative ordering that a 10-year-old Jordanian female child be rushed to receive medical treatment from obesity in King Khalid University Hospital. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al-Othman said "The response of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the televised appeal of the Jordanian female child's family is part of the Monarch's care and humanitarian initiative, reflecting his compassion and keenness to stand with the needy for health treatment". The urgent order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to treat this female child in KSU's King Khalid University Hospital expresses his confidence in university hospitals, their progress, potentials and distinctive medical efficiency, KSU's president added.
