Presided over by its Vice-Chairman Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Hamzah Hajjar, the Shoura Council held its 73th ordinary session here today. In statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, the Secretary General of Shoura Council Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi said that the Council approved the recommendations of the Committee of Islamic and Judicial Affairs and Human Rights regarding the annual report of the Ministry of Justice for the fiscal year 1426/1427H. He also said that the Council approved the recommendations of the Committee of Transport, Communications and Information Technology regarding the annual report of the Communications and Information Technology Commission for the fiscal year 1427/1428H. The Shoura Council discussed the divergence of views between the Cabinet and the Shoura Council regarding some articles of the draft regulation of private rehabilitation centers for handicapped. The Council decided to grant the Committee of Social, Family and Youth Affairs an opportunity to study the issue and submit its views in a later session.
