Riyadh newspaper, commenting on the peace process in the middle east, said US President Barack Obama, giving priority to the middle east problem, has sent his envoy to the region. The paper underlined the importance of uniting the Palestinian and Arab ranks and speaking with one voice, and waned against the psychological ware which might be launched by Israel against the Arabs. The paper said there is on the table an Arab peace initiative for the settlement of the problem, and if Washington viewed the initiative as a base for the settlement and if Israel treated it as a starting point for negotiations, then no Arab country can allege that the initiative has become invalid. We should take into account that we are passing very a critical stage and there is need for a brave stand which may change the international opinion which says that the Arabs can never agree. --more
