Fadl Abd Abu Tair, a Palestinian who was several days ago rushed from Gaza through Al-Areesh, Egypt, for medical treatment, left Riyadh airbase today after having recovered his injuries in a Saudi specialized hospital. In an interview upon departure, Tair expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for giving him the opportunity to receive medical treatment in a Saudi hospital, commending the brotherly feelings of the noble Saudi people towards the Palestinian people, their stand by them and continuous support, and praying to Allah the Almighty to preserve the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi people for their support of Islam and Muslims in general and the Palestinian issue in particular. Tair is heading for Al-Areesh airport in Egypt on his way to Gaza Strip, officials said. Highlighting the occasion, Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Manie noted that Tair is the first to return home after complete recovery among dozens of Palestinians injured by Israeli air raids and rushed to Saudi hospitals for treatment.
