Areesh, Egypt, December 30 , SPA -- Upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, two cargo Saudi planes, laden with more than 20 tons of medicines and medical appliances, arrived at the airport of the Egyptian city of Al-Areesh. In a statement on the occasion, Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Saudi Red Crescent Commission, said the move comes within the assistance offered by the Kingdom to the needy in Palestine in line with directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. In addition to that, Saudi flying ambulances were allocated to airlift Palestinian injured to Saudi hospitals to receive the necessary medical treatment, he said. He reminded that, in this context, two highly-equipped medical evacuation planes arrived in Al-Areesh yesterday to pick the injured.
