A moderate earthquake jolted NWFP, Punjab and Tribal areas including Islamabad, Peshawar, Chitral, Lahore, FATA, Azad Kashmir, Abottabad, Rawalpindi, Mansehra, on early Sunday, according to APP. The quake magnitude was reported 5.9 on Richter scale, chief metrological officer said. There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage while its epicenter was in the remote Hindu Kush mountain range, he added, private news channel reported. Tremors were also felt in Muzaffarabad, Hangu, Gilgit, Ghazr, ParaChanar, Kurrum Agency, Kohat, Dir, Bunir and many others. Meanwhile, people in panic have come out of their homes. Three people were injured in the earthquake related incidents and admitted in a local hospital of Peshawar while no immediate injury was reported in the Punjab Province, Punjab government confirmed.
