An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 on the Richter Scale shook northern Pakistan Saturday morning but there were no reports of any damage or injuries, seismic center officials said. The tremor occurred at 10:05 a.m. local time with its epicenter located 300 kilometers north of northern Peshawar city in the Hindu Kush mountain range of neighbouring Afghanistan. The quake was felt in Peshawar, Chitral and adjoining areas in the North-Western Frontier Province and in the capital Islamabad.
