The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) will receive effective from the new Hegira year (1-1-1430 AH) its visitors on its new web site (www.spa.gov.sa), which will be inaugurated on the first of the lunar month of Muharram. SPA's Acting Director General Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein expressed appreciation for the support extended to SPA by Minister of Culture and Information Iyad bin Ameen Madani, and highlighted his keenness on the development of Saudi Press Agency. Al-Hussein said the new web site has been designed in a manner that makes the visitors or viewers capable of obtaining the required information easily. He noted that the site has been provided with information and services that make it more dynamic and strong as regards the variety of choices in addition the professional chaptering of the site. Several services that concern the visitors of the site have been added including the following: - WAP service pertaining to mobile telephones which enable the visitor through telephone to get acquainted with the service of the agency through the specialized copy, and it is a free service. - SMS service which enables the visitors to obtain the latest and the most important reports immediately, and this service can be obtained through a monthly subscription. --MORE
