The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) launched here today its new website which featured a new classification and included various SPA services related to each category. Director general of SPA Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein asserted the keenness of the agency to ever develop and to cope with every new trend in the media domain in general and in the press field in particular, namely in technological and electronic aspects. SPA, he continued, is eager to translate its presence and consolidate it through providing its services in addition to conventional services it used to provide for subscribers, whether a news item, a picture or making these services available on the net, in order to realize the aspirations and ambitions of surfers on the web net, which lead to the rapid access to the site, receiving the required information and smoothly review of a news item, a picture and various informatics pages supporting the site. Al-Hussein pointed that SPA has added several pages, services and colors to the website, to guarantee the smoothness and rapid access to information and news items, by a visitor or a surfer. He explained, furthermore, that interactive services and other new services have been made available to visitors in addition to a reassessment page on the site. SPA Director general expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, Prince Turki bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Assistant Minister of Culture and Information for their ongoing support to the agency, their follow up and right directives to contribute to promote and excellence of its services. -- SPA
