Members of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Commission (ACAC) signed in Paris today an agreement on mutual cooperation with the Executive Committee of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) which is comprised of 11 European countries for the coming period from 2009 to 2011. The Saudi delegation to the meeting was led by Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Turki Al Saud, the Vice President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation for the Affairs of International Organizations, on behalf of the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation. Following the signing ceremony, Prince Turki said that the agreement aims at exchanging information and expertise relating to the development of civil aviation in the Arab world and the continent of Europe. The Executive Board of ACAC's membership is comprised of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and, Yemen and Jordan. The Executive Committee of the ECAC's membership is comprised of 11 European states: France, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Italy, Portugal, Finland, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and United Kingdom.
