An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale shook the waters southwest of Sukabumi town in West Java on Saturday night, ANTARA reported. The epicenter of the quake which struck at 08.00 p.m. was located 97 km southwest of Sukabumi at a depth of 53 km, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) said in its website on Saturday. There were no immediate reports of casualties or material damage. Earlier, at 05.56 p.m., a 5.1 magnitude earthquake also hit waters 14 km southwest of Sinabung in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam province at a depth of 55 km.
