A tectonic earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale shook Sukabumi, West Java province, Tuesday at 06.34 am local time, ANTARA reported. The quake's epicenter was located at 7.59 degrees southern latitude and 106.67 degrees eastern longitude, around 79 km southwest of Sukabumi, at a depth of 30 km, the meteorological and geophysics local office reported. Last month (Feb 8), a 5.0-magnitude earthquake rocked water area near Sukabumi. The quake's epicenter was located at 8.06 degrees southern latitude and 106.91 degrees eastern longitude at a depth of 10 km.
