The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate in the 180th session of the executive council of UN's educational, scientific and cultural organization (UNESCO) attended by representatives of 58 countries, Dr Saeed al-Mileis, the deputy minister of education for boys education and member of the executive council of UNESCO, arrived here on Friday evening to participate in the meetings which will end on Oct 16, 23008. The participants of the meetings are scheduled to review a number of topics including the attainment achieved in the field of 'education for all by 2015' and other related topics. They will also review the contribution of UNESCO to the preservation of the cultural heritage in Old Jerusalem as well as the situation of the cultural and educational institutions in Iraq and contribution to the reconstruction of Lebanon.
