The Supreme Judicial Council urged all Muslims in the Kingdom to sight the Crescent of the Blessed Month of Ramadan on Saturday evening Sha'ban 29 and Sunday evening Sha'ban 30 in accordance with the Um A-Al-Qura Calendar. In a statement issued today, the Council said that whom-so-ever sight the Crescent of the Month of Ramadan must report to the nearest Court and register his testimony there. In case of non-availability of a judge in the town of Crescent sighting, the witness must report to the closest governorate of any region to let official there facilitate his access to the nearest court. The Council hopes to pay attention to the Crescent sighting as it is one of the ways to helping one other in righteousness and piety.
