Minister of Finance Noman al-Suhaibi held talks on Wednesday in Amman with Jordanian Finance Minister Hamad al-Kasasbeh over means of strengthening economic and financial cooperation, according to Saba. The two ministers also discussed possibilities of availing from Jordanian experience to train Yemeni cadres in field of financial reform, especially in preparing and implementing budget, taxation and custom reforms. Al-Kasasbeh showed his country's readiness to train Yemeni cadres and its interest to boost cooperation between the two countries' financial ministries. He reviewed the economic developments in the Kingdom and the reform programs implemented there as well as the procedures the government has adopted to counter the economic challenges and alleviate their consequences on the Jordanians. For his part, al-Suhaibi briefed al-Kasasbeh on the economic situations in the country, praising the Jordanian experience in the economic and financial reforms that reinforce the financial and monetary stabilization in Jordan.
