Chief of the Egyptian journalists Makram Mohammed Ahmad has underlined the significance of the world conference on dialogue due to be inaugurated in Madrid tomorrow. In a statement to SPA, he said it is important to conduct dialogue, enhance understanding and to project Islam in its proper manner. Noting that Islam calls for respecting other religions and cultures, he hoped that the conference would yield positive results.
