Turki underscored the importance of spreading the culture of dialogue among the nations, and said the media should shoulder its responsibility in this respect. Serious media work for the service of dialogue among the nations will make dialogue an effective way among the nations and the various cultural, religious and political categories, he said. It is hoped that the participants of the conference from the various religions and cultures will reach certain and objective concepts which constitute an authenticated base for dialogue in the future, he said. On their part, representatives of the Spanish media welcomed the convening of the conference in Spain, and hoped that it would yield positive outcome and contribute to enhancing cooperation and understanding among the nations for tackling the problems of the mankind and contemporary challenges. The meeting was attended by director of the Islamic cultural center in Madrid Dr Ibrahim al-Zeid.
