Egyptian journalists emphasized the importance of dialogue meeting between the followers of religions at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Wednesday in response to the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for convening such a meeting under the umbrella of the United Nations. In statements to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), they noted that the King's initiative has been embodied in the International Islamic Conference for dialogue in Makkah, the World Conference of Inter-faith Dialogue in Madrid earlier this year, and the dialogue meeting between the followers of religions to be hosted by United Nations in New York.
