A mine blast hit a freight train in eastern Turkey, injuring three, Xinhua quoted Anatolia news agency as reporting today. Three railway workers were injured and five wagons were damaged at the blast which occurred on Saturday, the report quoted Governor of Mus Erdogan Bektas as saying, adding that the attack particularly targeted the wagon which carried railway workers. "The rails where the blast took place will be closed to transportation for a couple of days," Bektas said. Further investigations are underway, the report added.
